PDC, as the premier socio-economic development agency for the State of Penang, pledges to :

• Ensure that the development of all industrial, housing and commercial projects are monitored effectively and completed in compliance to the customers' needs, within the stipulated time frame and in accordance to PDC's objectives, processes and procedures.

| • Ensure all applications for purchase of industrial land and management/purchase of SMI factories are processed within 21 working days. |
| • Ensure all payments are processed and cheques are prepared within 14 working days after obtaining confirmation on invoice. |
| • Disburse contract payments according to the payment schedule stipulated in the terms of contract. |
| • Continuously implement entrepreneur programmes at least 3 times a year. |
| • Ensure all investment and business proposals are analysed, evaluated and decided on within 3 months from the date of receipt. |
| • Ensure all correspondences are replied to within 7 working days. |
| • Ensure all complaints received are analysed/replied to within 7 working days. An explanation on the type of action to be taken is informed to the complainant within 14 working days. Immediate action will be taken in cases which involve the safety of lives/properties. |
