Aims at assisting small entrepreneur, the poor and the hardcoorpoor to be involved in business activities as an effort to curb and eradicate poverty. PDC Board in its meeting on 25.6.2009 approoved for the implementation of PTSR programme on collaboration basis with USM with a contribution of RM1.5 million from PDC and Penang State Government respectively. The PTSR loan is interest free. The launching and cheque presentation to the first batch of 40 receipients was successfully held on 7.10.2009 by YAB Chief Minister of Penang.
