The Vistana Hotel Penang is a joint venture project between PDC and Business Budget Hotels Sdn Bhd (a member of the YTL Group of companies) on a 49/51% basis. The Hotel commenced operations in November 1999.

The development of Pulau Jerejak as an eco-tourism centre is being undertaken by Tropical Island Resort Sdn Bhd, a joint venture company between PDC and UDA Holdings Bhd with an equity of 49/51% respectively.
